Pat Rediger is a journalist, author, public relations consultant and entrepreneur. He has been a partner in various publishing companies before establishing Benchmark Public Relations Inc. He is also the principal of Benchmark Press, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Benchmark Public Relations. Active in the community, he has served as the President of the Saskatchewan Writers Guild and has been a board member of the Western Magazine Awards Foundation and the Saskatchewan Science Centre. Pat has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Regina.
Dr. Lynn Gidluck
Lynn Gidluck has a wealth of public relations experience. She has served as the Executive Director of Corporate Affairs with the Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation and has provided media relations for the Government of Saskatchewan. She holds a Doctorate in Public Policy from the University of Regina and a Certificate in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University. An accomplished author and accredited communicator, Lynn has also been a finalist for the Saskatchewan Book Awards.
Senior Communications Consultant and Creative Director
Nicole Williams oversees the creation and implementation of our branding strategies. She is a writer and designer who has created and implemented many multi-media campaigns. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Regina.
Dr. Sophie Gaudet
Consultant, Quantitative Research
Sophie Gaudet holds a PhD in quantitative and social psychology from the University of Ottawa and has more than eight years experience conducting research for the private and public sectors. Sophie has extensive knowledge and research experience in social behavioural research, demography, and commercial market research. She has conducted a broad range of quantitative and qualitative research including program evaluations, segmentation, market share and market product testing studies, as well as employee engagement and satisfaction surveys. She is skilled in the use of surveys with multiple modes of delivery, focus groups, informant interviews, mystery shopping, analysis of large administrative datasets, and literature reviews. She has worked with clients in gaming, government, post-secondary education, municipal, healthcare, and financial services sectors to help them identify their data and research needs and create new research programs to support strategic planning and analytics.
Consultant, Qualitative Research
Laureen Gatin is a Regina-based researcher and writer who has field research and analytical experience honed while conducting research projects at the University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, Indigenous Peoples Health Research Centre, Saskatoon Health Region, provincial ministries and other private sector organizations. She has researched and published material on Saskatchewan cooperatives, rural economic development, occupational health and safety, child welfare policies, best practices in health care, human resource recruitment and retention practices and financial assistance options for post-secondary students in the province. Laureen holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Masters in Sociology from the University of Regina. She has taught at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and served as a board member for the YWCA of Regina.
Diana Rapoport is a graphic designer with over 10 years of experience at various design agencies and as a freelance graphic designer. She has a talented eye for details, strong conceptual and typographical skills. She has a passion for clean, functional and outstanding design, and has excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Director of Special Projects
Don Shalley brings many years of experience in a variety of fields to the Benchmark team. Throughout his career in the private and public sector, Shalley has worked in communications, marketing, financial management and human resources. He has been Director of Fund Development with the Canadian Paraplegic Association, Executive Director for the Saskatchewan Department of Tourism, as well as founding and operating his own successful private business undertakings.
Warren Nerby is the Sales Manager for Rural Councillor, the quarterly magazine for the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM), as well as the spring convention guide. Warren has extensive experience having worked with the Regina Leader Post, Brown Communications, the Saskatchewan Hotels and Hospitality Association, and various publications in British Columbia.
Kayla Guerrette started her career in Swift Current where she produced and launched a 30-minute lifestyle program called go! Swift Current. She furthered her career in Red Deer as the host of their lifestyle program go! Central. These opportunities helped her to relocate closer to her home in North Bay, Ontario where she became a reporter and producer for Cogeco Inc. It was at Cogeco Inc, where she received won a Star Award for a documentary on a veteran from World War II.

Jasmine Wang recently completed Level I of her iBioMed Program at McMaster University and has a background in engineering. Her interest in journalism fuels her passion for writing and design.
Anna Rediger is pursuing a Bachelor of Communications in Information Design at Mount Royal University in Calgary and has won awards for her photography and design work.
