Designing Effective Surveys Workshop

Are you currently conducting or would like to conduct your own surveys?

User-friendly online survey software has changed the way organizations gather information and feedback from customers, employees, members and the public. More and more organizations are conducting research internally instead of using independent research providers. However, without clear research goals and precise survey instruments, survey questions may gather misleading information and limit data analysis and depth of knowledge.

Benchmark Public Relations offers training sessions that will introduce you to the basic steps to survey development. Learn the link between research questions, survey instruments and data analysis. Gain an understanding of the decisions and steps involved in crafting and executing a successful survey that will provide useful, insightful data.

This training is led by Sophie Gaudet, Vice-President of Quantitative Research at Benchmark Public Relations. Sophie has ten years of experience conducting psychological, demographic and market research for the private and public sectors. She holds a Ph.D. in quantitative and social psychology from the University of Ottawa. The Designing Effective Surveys Workshop will offer an overview of the processes associated with survey creation, including considerations and pit-falls to avoid in survey question development.
