Helping a local group plant the seeds for success

Benchmark is pleased to sponsor Regina Seedy Saturday, a local group dedicated to building community through gardening. We recently designed a new Facebook image for the group (pictured above).

Seedy Saturday is a fun community event, designed to bring together new and experienced gardeners to share information, participate in a seed exchange and purchase seeds from heirloom and heritage seed growers.

This organic group of community builders loves to collaborate and build community through conversation, community events and sharing our stories and resources, namely seeds that we save from our gardens.

For more information, visit Seedy Saturday on Facebook.

Promoting ATV safety through multiple avenues

This summer, Benchmark Public Relations is managing the Saskatchewan All Terrain Vehicle Association’s (SATVA) #RideSafeRideSmart campaign. This important initiative reminds ATVers to follow proper safety practices before and during their off-roading sessions.

We created a promotional poster for SATVA and drafted and distributed a media release. We have booked SATVA some one-on-one interviews so it can share its message with the public. As part of the campaign, we have also taken over SATVA’s social media feeds and will be promoting some sponsored content through Facebook.

Below, take a look at some of the material we have created for SATVA. We have been proud to partner with SATVA on safety campaigns for a number of years to help educate people and prevent accidents.

Helping promote ATV safety

We’re proud to help organize the Saskatchewan All Terrain Vehicle Association’s (SATVA) safety campaign this summer.

SATVA has received funding from the Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council to reduce the number of injuries in Saskatchewan from ATVs by raising safety issues within the community’s target audiences. SATVA is asking ATVers to Ride Safe. Ride Smart and follow important safety practices like wearing a helmet and avoiding dangerous driving.

We created a poster that has been distributed to motor sports shops and provincial associations like the Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association.

To kick off ATV Safety Week, we helped SATVA put together a media event outside Regina. The media had the chance to try and ATV and learn more about operating the vehicle safely. There was some great press coverage generated:

During ATV Safety Week, and throughout the summer, we will also be creating sponsored social media posts for SATVA and distributing themed safety articles for publication in Saskatchewan.

We’re happy to be working on a campaign that promotes ATV safety and will result in fewer accidents on the roadways.
